WHO’S BEHIND THE CAMERA?

Raymond Ng is a 18-year old interdisciplinary visual artist from Queens, NY, and has been engaged in photographic practice since middle school. Ray has amassed accolades through high school, which are national awards/recognitions from Scholastic Art & Writing and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Upon starting at Binghamton University in Fall of 2022, Ray has taken courses in the Visual Arts department under the professorship of Tomonari Nishikawa and Traci Hercher. In Spring of 2023, Ray is an undergraduate teacher assistant for CINE 122 Expression & Innovation.
Ray’s main objective is to craft a deep, interpersonal connection between viewers and his work. Meanwhile, he also aims to preserve a sense of introspection across all of his concepts. From his vantage point, art is a vessel for story-telling, memorializing, and introducing new perspectives. It has grown to become his voice and method of self-reflection.
